In Long Beach, dinner reservations for popular izakaya, hot pot and Korean BBQ spots fill up on Friday and Saturday nights, so booking ahead or arriving at opening is worth it. Many restaurants across California run daily lunch specials on weekdays that are not listed on the dinner menu, so it is worth asking. Long Beach is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Long Beach follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

This is a location I would probably call 'A local place'. The reason I would say that, is the distance to travel, is it worth the price to satisfaction ratio? I went from Downtown LA to try these. And at end of day I wouldn't call these Filipino donuts but more like American Donuts with Filipino flavors like Ube. They do have more authentic pastries but some might enjoy them some will not. While ordering and seeing some other options were up to 7$ a pastry, I can't justify the satisfaction unless you live closer and easy to get and they do taste freshly made. But passing locations like Randy's and Porto's and others to get to this location and I was just left like one and done for me. Overall nothing wrong but a little expensive for the offering.

1. The pastries were soft and not too sweet! I really love that blueberry cornbread bibingka! 2. The spot has chill casual vibes! The interior is cozy! 3. The staff were friendly and timely with our order! It was ready after 5 mins! 4. There is no seating inside! There is a bench outside! 5. I only saw street parking available! Note: This spot does not have restroom available for customers! Photo: Blueberry Cornbread Bibingka and Black Sesame Bread

Sans & Wolves is a Long Beach treasure. The incredible food plus the incredible service are worth a visit. I love how welcoming the space is, and the variety of options, including gluten free ones for my husband. If there’s ever a line, it moves quickly and I’ve loved every recommendation they’ve provided. 10/10 would recommend.

Absolutely loved everything we ordered. The folks running the shop were super friendly and the food was incredible. The blueberry cornbread bibingka, strawberry cream cake, and ube coffee cake were our favorite treats that we got. Will absolutely be back! Some of the best vegan baked goods I’ve ever had.
